About Bizzie Productions...
Where does this story begin, is it the story of a young man who grew up in a far western mining town and found a love of community theatre, a story reminiscent of Billy Elliot - without the dancing.
Or is it the story of the young altar boy with the golden tonsils who toured the world and sang for the pope.
Or perhaps it is the funky little Jewish boy who died his hair blonde and got a record deal, but refused to leave his mates behind.
Truth is all three stories are true and compelling, but will take far too long to tell. If you ever meet one of the team and buy them the requisite number of drinks, I am sure they will share them with you.
Ultimately, all three founders of Bizzie came to performance at a young age. They found a particular love of different components of theatre and skills that when combined complimented each other beautifully.
What they also shared was a mutual passion for community theatre, a desire to see it grow and thrive in the greater Sydney area and beyond. So they decided to form a production company with three key aims:
1. Identify the potential of young performers in community theatre, fuel their passion and encourage their development.
